Rev up for car show and fete

Rev up for car show and fete

Orbost Primary School will this Saturday morning play host for the school’s Car Show and Fete.
This will be the first time the two events have been combined since 2019 when the school held its hugely successful Car and Bike Show ‘n Shine. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the school has been unable to host it again, nor a fete, making the decision easy to combine the two into one bumper event.
“In 2019, the event was so successful for the school, and we really wanted to run it again as it was a lot of fun. We managed to get over 50 cars and bikes last time and we are seeing registrations roll in now for this year’s event,”
Orbost Primary School’s parents club member, Tiffany Hambling, said.
With several different categories on show including classic cars, motorbikes and hot rods, there is sure to be something for any motoring enthusiast to see.
If you aren’t a rev head at heart, fear not, the children’s activities, show bags, and various market stalls showing off local wares such as honey, jewellery, clothing, plants, and woodwork will keep you occupied.
With so much to see and do, you will not be left hungry with the school’s popular cake stall or many food vendors on site.
