Nicholson Street came alive for Super Saturday. 
The car parks were full, tables and chairs at cafés were taken up by diners and stores had people walking out with full bags of goods. 
Chatter, laughter and people were generally in high spirits when they came together in what felt like a ‘normal’ pre-COVID Christmas time.  
By all accounts, Super Saturday was a success.
The Orbost and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry managed to line a few ducks in a row for its Super Saturday with Bevil Lunson also hosting his Christmas Market at the arcade which sold through four tables of Christmas cakes on top of other baked goods, books and stall items.
Sausages were cooked and proceeds were raised to go towards the Orbost Food Pantry and Church Ministries.
The community market was held with a small number of stalls in the vacant block next door to the Commonwealth Hotel, while Andrew’s Land and Surf proved to be a must-visit store among families due to the jolly man himself, Santa, being present for photos while handing out lollies.
