Cafés close over rules

Salt Organics in Orbost will close its doors to customers for good rather than comply with a Victorian Government directive to get vaccinated.
Owner of Salt Organics, Ondy Meek, told the Snowy River Mail the mandated vaccinations had sealed the deal for her.
“We’re opposed to it. It’s just the whole mandatory thing of having to get vaccinated,” Ms Meek said.
“I’m disappointed most definitely because I don’t know how I’ll feed my family,” she said.
“I’ve no choice. I’m opposed to being vaccinated because it’s still in the trial stage.”
Ms Meek said she had earlier hoped to comply with COVID rules and regulations by setting up a servery to prevent contact with customers.
