Orbost Secondary College welcomed back its year 12 cohort last Friday.
The senior students, who across the state have faced more challenges that any other group in many decades, broke free of COVID restrictions in a week where mental health was highlighted.
College nurse, Lizzie Barnes, the Wellbeing team, Hollie Fuhrmann and fellow teachers last Thursday took to Facebook and shared an important video clip in recognition of R U OK Day.
R U OK Day is our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask ‘are you OK?’ and to support those struggling with life’s ups and downs, especially during these unprecedented times.
School principal, Peter Seal went on to record a short video which also reiterated the same message.
