Massive donation

A few weeks ago, the Orbost Poker Run committee held its annual cheque presentation at Ronald McDonald House Monash donating a massive $24,440.
The Orbost Poker Run was founded in 2010 and is run by a very motivated and highly dedicated committee, all motorcycle enthusiasts.
It has officially been noted that this is the chapter’s longest running and highest community fundraising event raising at least 125 nights a year since its inception.
The total amount of funds raised by the Orbost Annual Poker Run over the 11 years is a staggering$298,784.70.
The event started after Gracie Hibberson, a child from Orbost, needed to stay at Monash House many years ago and the family decided they wanted to do something to give back.
The funds that are donated back to the Ronald McDonald House Monash allow for the Orbost Community lounge room.
