FoodWorks National held its annual awards night in Hobart on October 22 and Orbost’s FoodWorks came home a major winner.

The annual FoodWorks National Store and Supplier Awards were held under the banner of AUR (Australian United Retailers) for the first time this year and opened the potential awards to the host of brands sitting in the AUR stable. As a result, competition was fierce.

The team at Orbost FoodWorks was thrilled to be announced National Supermarket of the Year.

“Steve, Karen, and the whole team at the supermarket have listened to their local community, constantly sought to evolve their offering and create a unique store that caters for the whole community,” award presenters said.

The Orbost FoodWorks team thanks its loyal customers and the community for their support throughout the last 12 months, “because of you, the customer, and the wider community’s support, Orbost FoodWorks has been awarded State and National FoodWorks Store for 2019, which is a great achievement to take out the award over 650 other stores”.
