Fun-filled fashion

The Cann River Fashion Parade was held last Thursday night.

Models included local youngsters Danielle Gardner, Evie Cochrane, Matilda Lees, Hailey Gardner, Macey Lynn and Brooke Connley, followed by teens Alice Searle, Alexis Watson and Ruby Stork, helped out by Matilda’s mother, Tammy Lees.

The organisers thanked those who helped make the night a success, including Julie Mustard, who manned the kitchen, Susie Bady at the door, Hayley Dunstan doing hair and Shanice Mongta makeup.

MC, Tom Hubble, and photographer, Patsy Killeen, Willy Dunstan on music, were also thanked, while Cann River P-12 College donating the sound system.

Kellie-Ann Inch kept the dressing room in order with outfits and last minute changes.

The night was great full of excitement and fun with lots of nerves, but also plenty of smiles. There were about 30 in attendance and the youth group managed to raise $400, which will help go towards activities on Friday nights.

Youth Drop In night is at the Cann River Community Centre every Friday night from 4.30pm–8pm.
